Right Out Of Old Europe!

An amazing selection of china--cups and saucers, a coffee pot and cream and sugar.  This looks like it's straight out of Gumps but the Turnabout has it!

Laces from old Europe plus some embroidery, perhaps done by a child?  I did one of these when I was about ten and how I wish I had it now!  If you are so inclined to wrap your fingers around a knitting needle or crochet needle or love to stitch you'll know what I mean.  Such jewels are to be saved and passed on to family members but we're lucky enough to have these.

Grapes of all kinds in a basket and wouldn't it look wonderful as a centerpiece on a small, round table by a window to serve coffee or tea to a friend?  I used to know someone with a table like that and she had it in just such a spot and it always brought to my mind how it must have been to live in the 1700's.

These glasses (with the rose!) are so beautiful!  Oh, wow, so glorious and isn't the rose a wonderful touch--thanks to Marty Gardiner!

A true feast here for the person who loves to knit or crotchet.  Come and run your hands through these beauties!

I am amazed, looking at this camera.  It's a box style--a Rollei made by Frankel and Heineke circa 1965.  Just the picture is worth displaying but to have the actual camera!  Thank you Marty for all these wonderful pictures!

SPECIAL TREASURES AT THE TURNABOUT!

I received all of these great pictures a half hour ago from one of our new shop managers and I do hope I'm right in identifying them because I haven't seen them in the flesh!  With that disclaimer in place, here, for your perusal, is a beautiful Gucci scarf!

This is a quilt and how marvelous it is.  We have a beautiful picture to show it off and I don't believe I need say one more thing to sing its praises!

Vintage ribbon and how many there are!  I just squirreled around in a couple of drawers at my home to find some ribbon for a gift I was sending to a friend and wouldn't I have loved to have some of these to choose from!

A dollhouse with a couple of little rocking chairs to choose from.  This looks perfect for a very little girl to play with!

Easter Bunnies, Prom Dresses and More!

Isn't this Easter Bunny Mom the best ever?  A true Mom--taking care of her baby as only an Easter Bunny Mom can.

We have some wonderful hats to go with your new Easter outfit.  And look--a Corduroy book.  Love it!

More wonderful Easter hats guarded over by a bunny.  He may look harmless but you have to get by him to get to those hats.

Don't you love this Easter outfit complete with hat? It's getting warm enough to wear it in comfort.

It's coming close to prom time and we have some wonderful prom dresses, as you can see.

Two more wonderful prom dresses.  Have to warm you--these are small--even at age 17 I wouldn't have been able to get into either of these but we have other wonderful prom dresses and who knows, one may just may fit the important prom person in your life!

February 2014 Beauties!

A lovely vase with a perfect bouquet for it.  I don't know which I like better--the vase or the flowers!

This painting is so beautiful, it's truly grabs one and it's already in a wonderful frame.  I'm particular pulled in by the ocean with all those amazing colors.  

These masks are stunning!  I wish I would have checked on the back to see where they hark from--wherever it is these are truly to be cherished.

I am a doll fancier and I love the way these are laid out.  One can truly have a good time exploring doll land here!

Lots of great shirts here--every conceivable color and all for a dollar!  There are also slacks and trousers and more, truly what a good Dollar Rack should feature!

Fantastic Finds For 2014!

We have a view of every kind of joyful thing imaginable here:an American Indian handicraft; lovely vases undoubtedly from across the sea; a fanciful fish and much, much more!

A treasure trove of jewelry--so many beautiful thing to choose from  one hardly knows where to look first.

Isn't this an exquisite bowl?  It's nestled in with a strange group of bedfellows as I took it looking down through the front glass case.

CHRISTMAS WONDERS!

An absolutely amazing selection of jewelry--need I say more?  

When I saw this assortment of Christmas goodies, I was overwhelmed.  Truly, you will be too!  I wish my camera were better because this photograph doesn't do it justice!

There are times when having a huge assortment of mugs to choose from is just what you want and here it is.

I think you're going to like this wondrous assortment of things from our front shelves--dolls dwell on the shelf all the way to the back and plates at near center and a lovely deep blue vase just right for a small bouquet poses in the center, a hula hoop of all things and some lovely silver pieces and more!  This calls for clicking big time.

I have to say that this picture, with that lovely railroad track running through the center, took my eye when I worked at the shop last week.  See the little house all the way to the right through the archway?  This is a very old piece and in need of expert help but it is beautiful.

Half-Price Wonders To Behold!

My eyes went directly to the huge decorative goose when I first saw these cupboards.  I would have sent it to a lovely sister-in-law in the midwest except for the weight!  I'll bet it weighs in the same as the real thing.
As you saw by the title on this blog, from November 6 to November 9, everything--I say everything (except things already on sale like the Dollar Rack) is 1/2 off.  You heard me--1/2 off!

These are our antique shelves and independently marked and from November 6 through November 9 everything here is 1/2 off!  That bright, beautiful platter at the top, right, would be great on a Thanksgiving table.  I wish, now, I had looked at that little blue plate at the bottom right.  It does look special!

Lots of white beauties here,  as well a a beautiful set of glasses and a beautiful bowl and so much more.  Enjoy them all, at 1/2 off from November 6 through November 9.

A bit of a mystery here--you know I love mysteries--it appears that that punch bowl is levitating.  What about that!  I'm sure you'll be able to rescue it.  A punch bowl, and just in time for the holidays and every single thing, here, 1/2 off from November 6 to November 9.  Don't miss that beautiful set of cups and saucers in the top right!

Speaking of mysteries, all of these lovely items--precious, aren't they?--are in the middle of a jumble and all totally confusing as I took the picture into a mirror.  I recall a couple of little hens toward the front, and perhaps a small crockery in the shape of a lady and many, many more things hiding somewhere in this picture.  Have fun figuring out what and where these things are and then know each and every one of these little beauties is 1/2 off from February 6 through February 9.

I can't tell you much about this lovely jacket except it's certainly not real fur you're seeing but lovely, non-the-less and from November 6 to November 9 it is 1/2 off!  Wow, you say!  It is small, so be prepared for that.
